Please stop reading if you don’t want me to ruin The Daily Show forever.

During the correspondent piece in the video above, watch Jon’s mouth as Aasif and Jason report. You can see that he is very subtly mouthing the words along with them as he reads the prompter. I watched some older split-screen segments and this is a thing he does often.

I know this is a common thing (in Empire Strikes Back when Han embraces Leia inside the Millennium Falcon, Harrison Ford mouths one of Carrie Fisher’s lines along with her), and I’m not faulting Jon at all, but I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to watch a correspondent segment on The Daily Show without staring at Stewart’s mouth, unable to focus on the funny words that everybody’s saying.

So, I wanted to post this and make sure I wasn’t the only one suffering.
