Ramsey Ess and Katy Perry Present “Firework” (1990’s Rock Version)

The link to the mp3 version of this seems to have died, so instead of reposting it, I made a music video out of it.

Here’s what I originally wrote about it:

So, whenever I become obsessed with some ridiculous pop song, I can’t just enjoy it and keep it a secret like everybody else. I have to subvert it in some way to make an excuse for myself as to why I’m listening to that song over and over again. “No, no. ‘Hands on Me’ by Vanessa Carlton is my number one most played song in iTunes so I could make that music video.”

Anyway„ I can’t stop listening to “Firework” by Katy Perry. I burned a CD with just that song on it for my car. My fiance knows all the words to it, and she hates it. So, I did what must be done. I downloaded an a cappella version of the track and made this 1990’s Rock version of “Firework.”

I hope you enjoy it as much as I will deny enjoying it.”
